Hi, Troy again.

Rosie continues to recuperate. She’s not moving around much, but she is in the living room watching TV and she has been getting her own drinks from the kitchen. That’s pretty good, considering what she’s been through.

I’ve been working 10-12 hour days this week because of the crazy code push they did while I was gone. Everyone on the support team at work are all working crazy hours. I feel guilty that I was in Rome when the push happened, so I missed the worst part of the craziness. I’ve been trying to do what I can to help make up at work this week, but I’m needed at home, too. I also have been working the late shift, so all week I’ve had to answer the phone lines until 9 pm. That sucks. I even worked 4 hours before taking Rosie to the hospital for her surgery on Wednesday. What a crazy week.

Luckily our moms were here for the last couple of days. They cleaned and cooked and cleaned and cleaned. I don’t remember our house ever being this clean… and all of our laundry is clean at the same time. I didn’t know that was possible.

Oh well. Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful thoughts and compassion. Rosie is really, really strong and she will be back to herself real soon.

  1. Sounds like you’ve got your hands full. How long are the mom’s staying? I’d be glad to volunteer for some shifts if needed. Don’t hesitate to ask. Haven’t called because I was afraid wouldn’t want to talk right now. If you need help with Rosie, Colleen, or just running errands let me know.

  2. Hey Troy,
Give Rosie a gentle hug from me. I’ve been thinking about you guys and hoping things are going as well as possible.
Everyone on the YSC board sends their love.
