Time for a sing along
Hey, it’s been a while since I went “teenage angst” and gave you song lyrics. Cut me some slack!
I heard one of my favorite songs on the radio today. It’s so funny. Such a great summary of my life right now – minus the booze and cigarettes! But the general theme is the same.
Aren’t we all our own worst enemies?
My Own Worst Enemy – Lit
Can we forget about the things I said
When I was drunk?
I didn’t mean to call you that.
I can’t remember what was said or what you threw at me
Please tell me
Please tell me
Why
My car is in the front yard,
And I’m
Sleeping with my clothes on.
Came in through the window last night
And you’re gone
Gone
It’s no suprise to me I am my own worst enemy.
Cause every now and then I kick the living shit out of me.
The smoke alarm is going off,
And there’s a cigarette
Still burning,
Please tell me why
My car is in the front yard
And I’m
Sleeping with my clothes on
Came in through the window
last night
and you’re gone
Gone
Please tell me why
My car is in the front yard
And I’m
Sleeping with my clothes on
Came in through the window last night
It’s no suprise to me
I am my own worst enemy
Cause every now and then
I kick the living shit out of me
Can we forget about the things I said
When I was drunk
I didn’t mean to call you that.

Hi Rosie! I am dreadfully bored at work, so was glad to find you had posted! Actually, Lit sings this song, but it’s still very cool. And I know I am a self-defeatist worst enemy of mine!

Oh, thanks! I can’t remember band names worth a darn and for some reason when I searched the lyrics, it came back as Blink 182! What’s up with that?
Thanks for the info. I have made the change!
